Unix, Windows workgroup and miscellaneous Telnet machines e.g. AS390 and Cisco Routers are automatically detected using the ForestSafe Scanner. The Scanner is hugely multi-threaded, and completes scans across large IP ranges rapidly.
Any number of ranges of IP Addresses can be specified
The system can run 1000 threads simultaneously, so 1000 ping failures occur in an instant.
